One of the coolest finds of the week was Boston band “Karate” performing and giving an interview on Italian MTV, circa early 00’s:

And the album Temas de Novela by Nonato Buzar. A lush, cinematic fusion of samba, bossa nova, and orchestral textures.

The “Streamer” List
One of my favourite bands ever is featured in this edition. The First Class!
The First Class came in ’74, mashing surf rock and smooth harmonies like a whirlwind of summer vibes—quick hits of nostalgia bouncing around, sharp and catchy melodies, filled with a carefree energy that demands more attention.
Mighty Sparrow takes “Try a Little Tenderness” and flips it on its head. Calypso vibes and a beat that just won’t quit, turns a classic ballad into a party-starter. Hard and smooth, like a late-night hangout.
Speaking of covers, there’s a cover of “Here, There, Everywhere”, and one of “I Go To Rio”, by brazilian singers Astrud Gilberto and Eliana Pittman, respectively. You gotta listen to believe.
The “Cloud” List
All the tracks in here are not available on streaming sites. They were gathered over the last 20 years from various blogspots and platforms.
On this playlist there’s an incredible track by "The Scaffold", a comedy and music trio formed by Mike McGear (brother of Paul McCartney), Roger McGough and John Gorman. “Devin’s Dead” is a absurd funk-rock, with Neil Innes as a guest, and Brass section courtesy of The Average White Band.
Also a very rare recording of "Tamarineira Village". The first iteration of the now cult idols of Údigrudi, "Ave Sangria". A collection with these home-made demos was posted on a now defunct blog, so there's not much information on it.
